Uba Sani Credits Tinubu for Reopening Schools in Kaduna

Kaduna State governor Uba Sani announced that more than 300 schools and 150 primary healthcare centres that were closed due to insecurity have reopened, crediting President Bola Tinubu's administration for this progress. Speaking at the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign flag-off at Ranchers Bees Stadium in Kaduna, Sani noted that when he took office in 2023, these institutions were shut down because of security issues.
He revealed that the federal government allocated N172 billion for the reconstruction of the Kaduna-Birnin Gwari road, a project that had been neglected for over 40 years. Sani highlighted improvements in security along the Birnin Gwari corridor, allowing safer travel.
He also mentioned that the Abuja-Kaduna Expressway reconstruction is 95 percent complete and discussed the Zaria-Soba-Birnin Gwari road project. Additionally, he reported that the North-West has received N84 billion in student support interventions and that 34,000 individuals benefited from the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programme.
