NIQS Calls for Media Partnership to Boost Construction Accountability

The Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS) is advocating for media partnerships to enhance transparency and accountability in construction projects. NIQS President, QS Kene Nzekwe, urged the media to collaborate with the institute to create a more transparent environment in the construction sector.

Nzekwe emphasized the importance of quantity surveyors in promoting accountability and cost management in infrastructure projects. The institute seeks to ensure that public funds are utilized efficiently and that professionals are engaged in construction projects to safeguard public interests.

NIQS invited media organizations to support their upcoming Biennial General Meeting in November 2025.
