Boko Haram Survivors Rehabilitated in Yobe State: Global Survivor Fund Initiative

In Yobe State, 197 survivors of Boko Haram attacks and conflict-related sexual violence are undergoing rehabilitation and support services in Damaturu, Bade, and Potiskum local government areas. The project, coordinated by the Global Survivor Fund and led by Mr.

Michael Ezinkwo, aims to provide interim reparations to survivors who have not benefited from previous interventions. The initiative focuses on addressing trauma, stigma, poverty, and health needs, while also offering educational and vocational training opportunities.

The project seeks to expand access to reparations for survivors of terror and conflict-related sexual violence who have not received adequate redress.
