Ministry of Interior Launches Innovation Hub for Sustainability

The Ministry of Interior has inaugurated an innovation hub designed to foster creativity and sustainability among its staff. Dr.

Magdalen Ajani, the Commissioner of the Ministry, reaffirmed the commitment to creative and sustainable practices during the launch event. The hub aims to transform waste materials into valuable products, such as decor items and office accessories, showcasing the potential of recycling.

Dr. Ajani praised the initiative as a model for turning waste into wealth and emphasized the importance of efficiency in public service.

The hub will also provide staff with entrepreneurial skills to promote environmental sustainability and ensure longevity. Mr.

Vera G. Azoro, the Director of Reform Coordination, highlighted the need for a financial framework to support the hub's expansion.

Dr. Ajani urged staff to maintain a culture of reform and collaboration, stressing the significance of knowledge sharing and high operational standards in line with the Ministry's reform agenda.
