Interswitch, Asaba Airport Launch Automated Parking System

Interswitch, a digital payment commerce company, has partnered with Asaba Airport Company to deploy a smart parking system at Asaba International Airport. This initiative aims to improve operational efficiency and enhance the passenger experience at the airport.

The solution, known as the Interswitch Park Management Platform, introduces a fully automated parking access control system designed to streamline airport operations and enhance mobility within the airport environment. The partnership comes in response to the increasing demand for smarter infrastructure due to rising vehicular traffic across Nigeria's airports.

The new system will enable real-time parking analytics, facilitate faster vehicle processing at entry and exit points, reduce congestion, and improve traffic flow across the airport premises. Nnenna Ajanwachuku, Vice President of the Transport Ecosystem at Interswitch, stated that the partnership reflects a commitment to deploying technology that drives efficiency and transparency.
