IPAC Condemns Killings in Plateau, Urges Security Action

The Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) in Plateau State has strongly condemned the recent wave of attacks that resulted in the killing of innocent citizens across various communities in the state. In a statement issued by the council's secretary, Aminu Hadi, the council expressed deep concern over the rising violence, describing the incidents as an unacceptable and grave threat to peace and security.

The council emphasized that Plateau State has long endured a cycle of unrest and must not descend further into insecurity. IPAC called on relevant security agencies to take immediate and decisive action to track down those responsible for these heinous crimes.

The council urged authorities to ensure that perpetrators are identified, apprehended, and brought to justice without delay, stressing that the safety of citizens remains paramount. Additionally, the statement encouraged residents, particularly those in affected local communities, to remain calm, vigilant, and report any suspicious activities to the nearest security agencies.

IPAC reaffirmed its commitment to peaceful coexistence and collaboration with the government and civil society to protect the state from further attacks.
