Irele Tower Opens with EDGE-Certified Green Offices

Irele Tower has officially opened in the Lagos Free Trade Zone, contributing to the expansion of office space in the Lekki corridor. This nine-storey development delivers 12,000 square meters of office and retail space, designed to meet the increasing demand from local and international firms seeking proximity to port and logistics infrastructure.

The building is EDGE-certified, incorporating measures to reduce operational impact, using 26% less energy and 46% less water compared to conventional structures. Adesuwa Ladoja, Managing Director of Lagos Free Zone Company, emphasized the tower's alignment with the zone's focus on creating an integrated business environment.

Yemisi Edun, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of FCMB, noted that the bank's early backing of the project reflects confidence in the long-term potential of the zone. Irele Tower exemplifies coordinated financial development, with FCMB remaining supportive of growth following its recapitalization.
