Jingir Urges Tinubu to Govern Nigeria with Fairness

Sheikh Sani Yahaya Jingir, a prominent Islamic cleric, called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to lead Nigeria with justice and fairness, irrespective of religion or political affiliation. This appeal was made during a one-day national symposium themed “Enhanced Political Participation and Social Justice, As a Panacea for Unity and Development in Nigeria,” held on Sunday at Sadeeqa Event Centre in Jos.

Sheikh Jingir reiterated his stance on the Muslim-Muslim presidential ticket, asserting that his political choices do not equate to animosity towards Christians or non-Muslims. He urged President Tinubu to ensure fairness to all Nigerians, regardless of their religious or political affiliations.

Sheikh Jingir expressed that every Nigerian has the right to choose their preferred candidate during elections, sharing his own experience of voting for a non-Muslim candidate in the past. He emphasized that he does not harbor hatred towards non-Muslims and believes in justice for all.
