Israel Increases Troop Presence in Southern Lebanon

Israel has deployed additional ground troops to Southern Lebanon as a tactical measure to prevent potential attacks from the Iran-backed militia Hezbollah. Military spokesman Nadav Shoshani stated that this deployment is not indicative of a ground offensive but aims to secure the Israeli border.

In response to these actions, Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has vowed retaliation, which has further escalated the conflict, leading Hezbollah to fire multiple rockets at Israel and prompting Israeli airstrikes on Hezbollah positions in Lebanon, including targets in Beirut.
