ISRT 2026 to Enhance Cancer Care in Africa

The International Symposium on Radiopharmaceutical Therapy (ISRT) 2026 is scheduled for August 28–29, 2026, at Loveworld Medical Centre in Lagos, Nigeria. This two-day event will gather leading experts in cancer care, nuclear medicine, and precision medicine from countries including Nigeria, South Africa, Algeria, Egypt, Kenya, Ethiopia, Germany, India, and the United States.

The symposium will cover recent advancements in radiopharmaceutical therapy, molecular imaging, radioligand therapy, theragnostics, radiopharmacy, and precision cancer treatment. Organizers plan to combine scientific presentations with hands-on workshops, clinical case discussions, and multidisciplinary sessions aimed at promoting knowledge sharing and professional development.

A significant focus will be on how advanced cancer treatment technologies can be sustainably integrated into African healthcare systems. ISRT 2026 aims to strengthen local capacity through education, workforce development, international partnerships, technology transfer, and collaboration among healthcare professionals.

The event is part of the Loveworld Ministry of Healing, Health and Social Services' initiative to enhance access to advanced medical knowledge and innovation in Africa.
