ARIN Hosts 9th Conference in Maiduguri, Borno State

The Association of Radiologists in Nigeria (ARIN) hosted its 9th Annual General Meeting and Scientific Conference in Maiduguri from August 17 to 21, 2026, marking the first time the event was held in the Northeast. The conference took place at the Zulum Auditorium of the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital, focusing on the theme of advancements in diagnostic and interventional radiology, particularly in resource-limited settings.

During a courtesy visit with Borno State Governor Babagana Umara Zulum, ARIN President Dr. Ebby Robinson praised the state government for its commitment to healthcare delivery.

Dr. Robinson urged the government to continue investing in modern medical infrastructure and technology.

Governor Zulum expressed appreciation for ARIN's choice of Maiduguri as the conference venue and discussed ongoing developments, including a State University Teaching Hospital, emphasizing the importance of modern medical technology in improving healthcare services.
