Omokri Challenges NDC's 10 Million User Registration Claim

Reno Omokri, a former media aide to a president, criticized the Nigerian Democratic Congress's claim of registering 10 million members within 24 hours, stating that such a feat is not feasible with current technological infrastructure. He emphasized that no single website in Africa can register 10 million distinct users in such a short time, especially when processing biometric and biographical data.

Omokri compared this claim to global tech platforms, noting that even Twitter took 40 days to reach 10 million users. He pointed out that achieving similar growth would require extreme server capacity and cautioned political parties to be careful with public claims to maintain credibility.

The statement comes in the context of recent political movements, including the joining of the party by notable figures like Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso.
