Edo State Enhances Legal System to Combat Kidnapping

Edo State is undergoing legal reforms to combat kidnapping and improve the justice system. The state is focusing on strengthening the rule of law, ensuring quick justice delivery, and protecting citizens' rights.

The Edo State Law Reform Commission, led by Donald Osikhena Boih, is reviewing and updating existing laws to align with current realities. Senator Mondai Okpebholo supports the initiative, aiming to modernize legal frameworks and enhance access to justice.

The state is also revamping its Ministry of Justice to introduce modern regulations and promote gender rights and digital economy development.
