Delta Governor Oborevwori Backs Tinubu's Re-election Bid

Sheriff Oborevwori, the Governor of Delta State, publicly endorsed President Bola Tinubu's re-election bid, describing it as his "number one project." In an interview, Oborevwori emphasized that Tinubu deserves a second term to continue implementing reforms that would enhance state revenue and development. He expressed confidence that Delta State would overwhelmingly support Tinubu in the next elections, citing the tangible impacts of federal reforms on state finances.

Oborevwori also dismissed concerns regarding the political challenge posed by former Deputy Senate President Ovi Omo-Agege, stating that Omo-Agege's departure from the APC was anticipated and would not significantly affect the party's standing. Additionally, Umo Eno, the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, echoed support for Tinubu, highlighting the importance of federal reforms in expanding resources for state governance.

Both governors noted the successful management of ethnic and religious diversity in their states, which they believe will contribute to political stability.
