Super Eagles Arrive in Lisbon for Portugal Friendly

The Super Eagles arrived in Lisbon on Thursday evening ahead of their international friendly match against Portugal, set for June 10 at Estadio Dr. Magalhães Pessoa, with kickoff at 8:45 PM Portugal time.

Alex Iwobi, who plays for Fulham, joined the team, which also includes AC Milan winger Samuel Chukwueze, who played on loan at Fulham last season. The squad consists of 19 players, with Rafiu Durosinmi excused due to personal matters.

Other players like Christian Akpan and Calvin Bassey are also part of the camp. The team is preparing to face a strong Portuguese side featuring stars such as Cristiano Ronaldo and players from Paris Saint-Germain.

Bassey noted the need for the Super Eagles to maintain mental strength and concentration throughout the match, while captain Wilfred Ndidi emphasized the importance of striving for victory in every game.
