Diri's Leadership Praised for IYC Electoral Peace

Dr. Kingsley Kuku, former Special Adviser to the President on Niger Delta and Chairman of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, praised Senator Douye Diri, the Governor of Bayelsa State, for his exemplary leadership in resolving the leadership crisis within the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC).

Kuku noted that Diri's efforts ensured a peaceful electoral transition, culminating in the elections scheduled for July 11, 2026.
