JAMB Opens Corrections for 2026 UTME Subject Combinations

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has commenced the process for candidates to correct their subject combinations for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). Candidates who wish to make adjustments are urged to visit accredited centers to effect these changes.

The sale of the e-pin for the 2026 UTME will close at midnight on February 26, 2026. The examination is set to take place nationwide from April 16 to April 25, 2026, with direct entry registration scheduled from March 2 to April 25, 2026.

As of February 17, 2026, 1.5 million candidates have successfully registered for the UTME, despite a daily registration capacity of 100,000 candidates at nationwide centers. JAMB has emphasized that there will be no extension of the registration deadline and warned candidates that failure to comply with admission status could result in forfeiture of previous admission offers.

The board is also implementing measures to strengthen identification verification and curb malpractice during the examination.
