JAMB Launches Registration for NCE and Agricultural Programs

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has initiated the registration process for candidates interested in pursuing Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) programmes in Colleges of Education and Non-Technological Agricultural Programmes in Polytechnics. Dr. Fabian Benjamin, the Acting Director of Public Affairs at JAMB, announced that candidates must visit any Institutional Professional Registration Centre (IPRC) located in Colleges of Education or any JAMB Professional Registration Centre (PRC) across Nigeria to register.

To be eligible, candidates are required to possess the necessary O’Level credits. Dr. Benjamin emphasized that under the new policy, candidates do not need to take the annual Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to gain admission into these programmes.

This initiative aims to broaden access to NCE and Non-Technological Agricultural Programmes while maintaining and improving the quality of these educational pathways.
