JAMB Launches Home Upload System for 2026 UTME Results

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has introduced a new online system that allows candidates for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to verify and upload their O’Level results from home. This initiative, which currently covers results from the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), aims to decrease candidates' reliance on Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres, especially during peak periods.

According to a statement from JAMB's Acting Director of Public Affairs and Protocol, Dr Fabian Benjamin, the new service is designed to make the process easier, faster, safer, and more convenient. Candidates must first obtain a result Verification Code by visiting the designated portal, providing their National Identification Number (NIN), and making a payment.

After verification, candidates will receive a Verification Code to upload their results. They can select a minimum of five and a maximum of nine subjects for their O’Level results, with notifications sent upon successful completion of the upload.
