JAMB Rejects Viral Claim of 394 UTME Score as Fake

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially dismissed a viral claim regarding a candidate, Okon Winniefr Sampson, allegedly scoring 394 in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). JAMB's spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, clarified that the result shared online is not authentic and does not originate from the board.

In a statement issued on Sunday, Benjamin explained that the current UTME result format is not designed for circulation in the manner seen in the viral document. He noted that the layout of the slip does not correspond with JAMB's official result template.

Furthermore, the registration number displayed on the document does not conform to the board's standard system. JAMB advised the public to disregard the claims and rely on verified information released through official communication channels, reiterating that UTME results remain strictly accessible on a view-only basis.
