JAMB Releases UTME Results for April 2026 Exams

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) announced the release of results for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) held on April 16, 2026. According to a statement from JAMB's spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, candidates can access their scores by sending their registration numbers to the SMS numbers 55019 and 66019.

The examination involved approximately two million candidates who sat for computer-based tests across the country. JAMB began the process of releasing results on Thursday, April 20, 2026, following a combined batch covering exams from Friday, April 17, to Saturday, April 18.

However, some candidates expressed frustration over delays in result availability, prompting the board to apologize and attribute the delays to the absence of its Chief Executive, who was engaged in official duties.
