Sheikh Kazaur Advocates Leadership Accountability in Lecture

During the 8th series of Ramadan public lectures held at the Jigawa State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists on Wednesday, Sheikh Na Ibi Shehu Kazaur outlined the critical roles of leaders and followers in nation-building. He stressed the importance of mutual respect and trust, urging leaders to treat their followers fairly and justly, while followers should remain obedient and loyal.

The cleric referenced the teachings of Prophet Muhammad, emphasizing that leaders are accountable to Allah for their actions. He warned against oppression and injustice, stating that tyrants would face severe punishment.

Sheikh Kazaur highlighted the need for transparency and accountability in leadership, encouraging followers to speak the truth to power and not to blindly obey corrupt leaders. The event aimed to promote understanding and unity among Nigerians, with the Jigawa State Chairman of NUJ, Comrade Ismail Duts, commending Sheikh Kazaur for his dedication to spreading Islamic teachings across the country.
