JNI and JCDA Condemn Killings in Plateau State

The Jama'atu Nasril Islam (JNI) and the Jasawa Community Development Association (JCDA) have expressed deep shock and sorrow over the tragic killings in Anguwan Rukuba, Jos North Local Government Area, Plateau State. In a statement issued by JNI Secretary Dr.

Salim Musa Umar, the attack was described as barbaric and senseless, posing a grave threat to peace and coexistence in the region. The organizations condemned the violence, which resulted in the loss of at least 33 innocent lives, and called for calm among residents.

They warned against retaliatory actions that could further inflame tensions and urged citizens to exercise restraint. Muhammad Tanko Shittu, the Secretary-General of JCDA, also condemned the unprovoked attack involving indiscriminate shooting by unidentified gunmen on motorcycles.

The organizations extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
