JCDA and JNI Demand Justice for Slain Traders in Plateau

The Jasawa Community Development Association (JCDA) and the Jama'atu Nasril Islam (JNI) expressed profound sorrow over the killing of five of their members in an ambush on Monday morning in Mangu, Plateau State. The victims, identified as Uwaisu Zubairu, Shamsu Zakari, Babakarami, and two others, were shot dead while traveling in a Vectra car towards Pankshin.

Muhammad Tanko Shittu, the Secretary-General of the JCDA, described the victims as law-abiding and hardworking citizens who were breadwinners for their families. The organizations emphasized the need for justice and highlighted the tragic nature of the deaths, which have plunged the Jasawa community into grief.

They noted that the victims were fulfilling their responsibilities to provide for their families and called for divine acceptance of their souls, urging the community to remain steadfast in faith during this calamity.
