Chelsea's Joao Pedro Calls Moises Caicedo the Best Midfielder

Chelsea forward Joao Pedro has publicly declared his teammate Moises Caicedo as the best midfielder in the world. In an interview with JioStar, Pedro praised Caicedo's exceptional work rate, defensive strength, and significant influence on the team.

He noted that Caicedo's ability to win back possession and cover extensive ground allows Chelsea's attacking players to advance with greater freedom. Pedro stated, “Moises, for me, he is the best in his position in the world.

He is a machine. He covers so much ground in midfield and wins the ball back so many times.” He emphasized that Caicedo's presence makes the team feel more secure, knowing he is there to protect the back four.

Caicedo, who joined Chelsea from Premier League rivals Brighton and Hove Albion in 2023, has become a crucial figure in Chelsea's midfield, breaking up opposition attacks and maintaining the team's defensive shape, thereby enabling forwards to focus on creating scoring opportunities.
