Kano Governor Urges Kwankwaso to Support Unity Efforts

During the annual Hawan Nassarawa ceremony on Friday, Kano Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf urged Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the leader of the Kwankwasiyya Movement, to put aside personal grievances and support the administration's efforts to build a new Kano.

Governor Yusuf emphasized the importance of unity and progress for the state, stating that a stable and prosperous Kano would benefit all citizens. He noted that almost everyone was present at the event except Kwankwaso, highlighting the need for reconciliation.

The governor praised the Emir of Kano for his counsel and urged the community to maintain a spirit of cooperation without fear or intimidation. He also mentioned that measures have been introduced to correct issues within the administration without rancor.

Governor Yusuf warned that negative actions would have consequences and reiterated the importance of peace in the state.
