FCT Minister Urges Striking Workers to Obey Court Orders Amidst Welfare Dispute

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, has advised FCT workers to comply with court orders following a strike initiated by the Joint Union Action Committee (JUAC) over unresolved welfare issues. The strike began on January 19, prompting legal actions and appeals.

Femi Falana, the lead counsel, responded to Wike's call, emphasizing that the notice of appeal does not automatically halt the execution of court orders. Wike warned against lawlessness and emphasized the importance of dialogue to address workers' concerns.
