Uba Sani Advocates for Stronger Judiciary in Kaduna

Uba Sani, the Governor of Kaduna State, stated that the judiciary is an indispensable guardian of constitutional order and protector of civil liberties during the opening of the Law Week at the Muhammadu Bello Bar Centre in Kaduna. He noted that during uncertain times, citizens often turn to the judiciary for reassurance that justice will prevail.

Sani emphasized the need for the government to recognize the judiciary's pivotal role in sustaining democracy and advancing peace. He committed to supporting initiatives that strengthen judicial infrastructure and improve access to justice.

Lateef Fagbemi, the Attorney General and Minister of Justice, praised Sani's commitment to advancing justice institutions and developing the rule of law in Kaduna State. He also paid tribute to the late Muhammadu Bello, a former Chief Justice of Nigeria, highlighting his contributions to Nigerian jurisprudence.

Fagbemi stressed the importance of collaboration among the bar, bench, and executive to enhance justice delivery.
