Kaduna NBA Week: Sani Advocates Strong Judiciary

On a recent occasion, Uba Sani, the Governor of Kaduna State, inaugurated the Kaduna Bar Centre, named after former Chief Justice of Nigeria, Moham Bello, as part of the Kaduna NBA Week activities. During the event, Sani highlighted the judiciary's indispensable role in protecting civil liberties and ensuring due process, especially during uncertain times in the nation.

He reaffirmed the government's commitment to strengthening judicial infrastructure and enhancing access to justice. Lateef Fagbemi, the Attorney General and Minister of Justice, praised the governor's dedication to advancing justice and developing the rule of law in Kaduna State, particularly in support of the Bar Centre project.

Fagbemi also stressed the importance of collaboration among the bar, bench, and executive to uphold constitutional independence. Afam Osigwe, President of the NBA, commended the successful completion of the Bar Centre and urged NBA branches nationwide to invest in infrastructure to support legal professionals.
