Nwifuru Reshuffles Ebonyi Cabinet, Swears in New Officials

On a recent date, Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru of Ebonyi State executed a cabinet reshuffle, swearing in two new commissioners and several special assistants during a state executive council meeting held at the Government House in Abakaliki. The new appointees include Amari Omaka as Commissioner for Tertiary Education and Sylvest Nwenugwu as Commissioner for Environment, alongside Njoku Onyekachi Felix as Special Assistant for Youth Mobilization.

This reshuffle is part of efforts to consolidate the achievements of the current administration and enhance productivity in critical sectors. Governor Nwifuru urged the new appointees to justify the confidence placed in them by demonstrating dedication and loyalty to the administration's agenda.

The reshuffle also involved the redeployment of other officials, including Chidi Onyia to the Ministry of Solid Minerals and Richard Ugo Idik to the Capital City Development. The governor congratulated the new members of the executive council and emphasized the importance of their roles in improving service delivery.
