ADC Chieftain Alleges Plot to Arrest Amaechi

An ADC chieftain has alerted the public to a purported scheme aimed at arresting former Minister of Transport, Amaechi, which is believed to be a tactic to undermine the ADC's presidential ambitions for the 2027 elections. The chieftain, Ohakwu, claims that this plot has been coordinated by high-ranking security officials aligned with the APC government.

Meetings held by a small committee over the past week have reportedly sought to establish a solid legal basis for the arrest, involving anti-graft agencies such as the ICPC, EFCC, and the DSS. The committee is currently examining state records and properties in Rivers State, Lagos State, and Abuja to construct a watertight case against Amaechi.

The ADC's leadership perceives this as an intimidation tactic designed to distract from their presidential race, especially in light of scrutiny surrounding Amaechi's tenure during the Buhari administration.
