Rivers ADC Confirms Plot to Arrest Rotimi Amaechi

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Rivers State has publicly confirmed a plot to arrest Rotimi Amaechi, the former Minister of Transport. Luckyman Egila, the ADC's Public Secretary, disclosed this information during an interview on Friday in Port Harcourt, the state capital.

Egila referenced the recent arrest of former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, emphasizing that the ADC cannot ignore the alleged plot against Amaechi. He noted that Amaechi, a significant figure in the country’s major opposition political party, has become a primary target for the government.
