Bandits Kill Vice Principal, Abduct Students in Kogi

On Wednesday morning, a bandit attack occurred at the Govern Secondary School in Iluk Bunu, Kogi State, resulting in the death of Vice Principal Mr. Gani Anifowo. The armed assailants reportedly killed Mr. Anifowo during the attack and abducted students who were scheduled to sit for their English language WAEC examination that day.

This incident has caused significant tension and panic within the community, which is already facing heightened security concerns. Residents have expressed fears for the safety of students and teachers, as well as the vulnerability of the community.

Local representatives have called on security agencies and relevant authorities to intensify efforts to restore peace and security in the affected area and ensure the safe return of the abducted victims.
