FG Releases 2026 Common Entrance Examination Results

The Federal Government announced the results of the 2026 Common Entrance Examination on Thursday in Abuja, as disclosed by the Minister of State for Education, Prof. Suwaiba Ahmad.

Out of 70,357 candidates registered, 66,950 participated in the exam held on June 6, 2026, across Nigeria, Benin Republic, and Togo, with 3,407 candidates absent. The top 10 candidates achieved the highest score of 202 marks, while 82 candidates recorded the lowest score.

The examination serves as a gateway for admission into Junior Secondary School (JSS1) in Federal Government Colleges. The Minister reaffirmed the commitment to improving infrastructure and teacher quality in these colleges to ensure they remain the preferred choice for parents.

Additionally, the results for the Federal Government Academy in Suleja were released, with 2,071 candidates registered, 1,876 sitting for the test, and the highest score recorded at 187 marks, representing 89.05% of the total obtainable score.
