Jigawa Governor’s Adviser Resigns, Joins ADC from APC

Hon. Mustapha Fatoma Ringim, who served as the Special Adviser to the Jigawa State Governor on Trade and Investment, has officially resigned from his position and defected from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the African Democratic Congress (ADC). His resignation letter, dated April 3, 2026, was addressed to the Executive Chairman of the Ringim Local Government Council.

In the letter, Ringim expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve under the current leadership and acknowledged the trust placed in him during his tenure. He noted his contributions to trade growth and economic development within the local government and emphasized the valuable experience gained during his service.

Although the letter did not specify his next political move, sources close to the former adviser confirmed his alignment with the ADC coalition.
