JOHESU Suspends Nationwide Strike After FG Conciliation Meeting

The Joint Health Sector Union (JOHESU) has decided to suspend its nationwide strike that lasted for 84 days. The union reached this conclusion after an emergency meeting of its National Executive Council (NEC) held in Abuja.

The suspension comes after a conciliation meeting between JOHESU and the Federal Government at the Ministry of Labour and Employment headquarters in Abuja. The strike has been halted to allow for the implementation of the terms of settlement agreed upon by JOHESU and the government.
