Kwankwaso and Obi Discuss Future of Political Unity

Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the former governor of Kano State, revealed details of a closed-door meeting with Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra State, which took place on Saturday. Kwankwaso described the discussions as frank and focused on the future of their political parties and the country.

He made this disclosure via a message shared on his official X account. The meeting occurred shortly after Obi returned from an overseas trip, providing an opportunity for the leaders to exchange views on important political developments affecting Nigeria.

Kwankwaso emphasized the importance of unity within the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), dismissing suggestions of disunity within the party. He stressed that despite differing opinions among its leaders, the party remains focused on its objectives.

Kwankwaso also highlighted the need for political leaders to prioritize collective interests over personal ambitions and expressed optimism about the NDC's future, assuring support for the party's leadership in building a stronger political platform for upcoming elections.
