ISWAP Terrorists Attack Military Base in Borno, Many Soldiers Feared Dead

In a recent incident in Borno State, ISWAP terrorists launched an attack on a military base in Sabon Gari, Damboa Local Government Area. The assault resulted in numerous soldiers feared dead, with heavy casualties reported.

The attack occurred shortly after an ambush that claimed the lives of seven military personnel, including a newly promoted lieutenant colonel, Moham. ISWAP, a faction of Boko Haram, has been strengthening its presence in the region, particularly around Lake Chad, attracting defectors and bolstering its forces.
