NDC Forms Electoral Committee for 2027 Primaries

The NDC has officially named its electoral committee members responsible for conducting the 2027 primaries across Nigeria. The committee will oversee elections for state houses of assembly, house of representatives, senate, governorship, and presidential positions across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Each of the six geopolitical zones has been assigned a committee, with specific chairpersons appointed for various states. In the South East, the chairman from Abia will lead the Anambra panel, while the chairman from Ebonyi will oversee Enugu and Imo states.

In the South South, the chairman from Akwa Ibom will head the Bayelsa committee. The Delta and Edo committees will be led by appointed chairpersons from the River South West, with Lagos overseeing Ogun and Ondo states.

In the North Central zone, Kogi will be led by its chairman, while Plateau will chair the North East committee, which includes Bauchi and Gombe. The North West will have a chairman from Kaduna overseeing Kano state.

The NDC aims to ensure a credible and transparent electoral process ahead of the 2027 elections.
