Tinubu Hosts Beninese President Wadagni in Lagos Meeting

On Monday, Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu received Romuald Wadagni, the newly inaugurated President of Benin, at his private residence in Lagos. Wadagni, who is 49 years old and an economist by profession, previously served as the finance minister before succeeding his former boss, Patrice Talon, following a successful presidential election in April.

This meeting marks Wadagni's first visit to Nigeria after taking his oath of office on May 24. Earlier on the same day, President Tinubu attended the International Fleet Review at Eko Atlantic, which celebrated the Nigerian Navy's 70th anniversary.
