VP Shettima Visits Maiduguri After Recent Explosions

Vice President Kashim Shettima arrived in Maiduguri, Borno State, on Wednesday for a condolence visit after recent tragic explosions in the state. This visit was conducted on behalf of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who is currently on a state visit to the United Kingdom.

Upon his arrival at Maiduguri International Airport, Shettima was welcomed by Deputy Governor Umar Usman Kadafur and Senator Kaka Shehu Lawan, who represents the Borno Central Senatorial District. The Vice President's visit aims to assess the situation and visit survivors of the recent coordinated bomb blasts attributed to terrorist activities in the city.
