Justin Njinmah Open to Joining Nigeria's Super Eagles

Justin Njinmah, a 25-year-old footballer born in Germany to a Nigerian father, is open to switching his international allegiance to Nigeria's Super Eagles. He has yet to feature for either national team but has expressed a strong desire to represent Nigeria, motivated by the Nigerian Football Federation's (NFF) approach.

Njinmah currently plays for Werder Bremen, where he has scored four goals in 17 league appearances under head coach Horst Steffen. His performances have attracted attention, including interest from Italian club SSC Napoli during the January transfer window.

Additionally, Njinmah's teammate, Felix Agu, who has previously represented Germany at the U21 level, has publicly encouraged him to make his Super Eagles debut. In related news, Super Eagles captain Wilfred Ndidi has returned to training with Turkish side Ikta J.K. following a bereavement after the tragic death of his father in a car accident.

Ndidi is expected to bolster the squad for their upcoming match against Göztepe.
