KACRAN Urges Dialogue to Tackle Nigeria's Insecurity Crisis

The Kulen Allah Cattle Rearers Association (KACRAN), led by President Khalil Moham Bello, has called on northern leaders and the federal government to prioritize dialogue as a principal solution to the region's security crisis. This appeal was made in a statement issued on Sunday in Damaturu, Yobe State, where KACRAN expressed deep concern over the recent brutal killings of 200 innocent people in Niger and the abduction of 176 individuals in Kwara State.

The association urged relevant authorities and security agencies to ensure the immediate and unconditional release of hostages across the country. KACRAN further demanded that bandits and criminals cease their attacks on innocent Nigerians, emphasizing that the nation cannot afford to remain in a state of uncertainty, drawing parallels with tragic precedents in Libya, Sudan, and Syria.

While acknowledging the sacrifices of military personnel, KACRAN noted that despite a proposed allocation of five trillion naira for the 2026 defense budget, insecurity persists.
