KADA Urges Action Against Renewed Boko Haram Attacks

The Kibaku Area Development Association has expressed deep concern over the recent resurgence of Boko Haram attacks in Chibok, Borno State, particularly affecting the Kautikari community. In a press statement signed by the association's president, Nkeki Mutah, and the general secretary, Ayuba Chiroma, the group described the coordinated assaults as recurrent and alarming, leaving residents in fear and forcing many to flee their homes.

The situation in Kautikari has become dire due to continuous attacks that disrupt livelihoods and destroy property, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis in the area. The association has called for immediate decisive action from security agencies to protect lives and restore peace to the affected communities.

They also urged humanitarian organizations to provide urgent assistance to displaced persons, particularly vulnerable groups such as women and children, who are enduring prolonged suffering with little relief.
