Kaduna APC Calls for Police Investigation into Attacks

The Kaduna State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) condemned recent attacks on its members and the vandalization of its party offices, as well as the offices of its support groups. In a statement by Public Relations Officer Sani Dan Azare, the party reported that vehicles were vandalized during the attacks.

The statement alleged that thugs assaulted and intimidated APC members and supporters in various parts of the state. The APC called on the Nigeria Police Force and relevant security agencies to conduct a prompt and impartial investigation into these incidents, establish the circumstances, and take appropriate action against those responsible based on credible evidence.

Dan Azare highlighted the need for security agencies to examine all credible leads and evidence. He also noted that Kaduna State has made significant progress in overcoming political, ethnic, and religious tensions, which must not be jeopardized by violence or unlawful conduct.

The APC urged its members to remain calm and avoid retaliation, emphasizing that no political contest is more important than the peace and security of Kaduna State.
