Kaduna Assembly Leaders Secure APC Tickets for 2027 Elections

On a recent date, the Speaker of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Dahiru Liman, alongside Deputy Henri Danjuma and other party members, successfully secured All Progressives Congress (APC) tickets for their respective constituencies. Liman emerged as the APC candidate for the Makera State constituency through a unanimous affirmation during the party's primary exercise.

The process was attended by party officials and leaders, including Ezekiel Gode, who declared the results following an affirming vote across five area constituencies. Similarly, Danjuma clinched the APC ticket for the Kagarko State constituency, with party members endorsing him unopposed.

Additionally, female member Munira Tanimu secured the APC ticket for the Lere East constituency. Several APC aspirants voluntarily withdrew from the race to endorse the party's consensus candidates, a move aimed at strengthening unity within the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.

This decision was supported by Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani, who emphasized the importance of harmony within the APC.
