Kaduna Cleric Backs Tinubu's Re-election, Dismisses Concerns

Dr. Emmanuel Simon, a Christian cleric and founder of the Blessed Embassy in Kaduna, publicly supported President Bola Tinubu's re-election bid for 2027. During the inauguration of a stakeholders meeting in Kaduna, Simon addressed concerns regarding the Muslim-Muslim ticket, which includes President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima.

He emphasized that the nation requires constructive engagement rather than political isolation and urged Christians to actively participate in politics. Simon, who accepted the role of grand patron for the Tinubu Fix Nigeria Movement, insisted that the appointment should not be interpreted as abandoning religious principles.

He argued that Tinubu's administration has demonstrated inclusivity through the appointment of Christians to strategic positions, asserting that governance should focus on performance and service to the people rather than solely on religious affiliations. Simon called for unity among Christians and Muslims to contribute to national development.
