Jema’a LG Chairman Appoints Over 100 Aides for Governance

On Thursday, Mr. Peter Tanko Dogara, the chairman of Jema’a Local Government Area, inaugurated a new phase of grassroots administration by presenting appointment letters to over 100 Special Assistants and Special Advisers at the council secretariat. This event marks the administration's first significant political appointments for the month and is part of a strategy to enhance participation in local governance.

Dogara stated that the appointments reflect the demographic, ethnic, and religious diversity of Jema’a, with a focus on including youth, women, and community stakeholders. He assured that the selection process was unbiased and aimed to build a representative government.

Dogara urged the new appointees to approach their roles with diligence and a service-oriented mindset, emphasizing the need for tangible outcomes for citizens. He indicated that these appointments are just the beginning of a broader human capital development plan aligned with the Kaduna state government's agenda under Governor Senator Uba Sani, ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Mr. Jerry Mutuah, the special adviser on stakeholders’ relationship, expressed gratitude for the appointments and pledged commitment to the progress of Jema’a LGA.
