Kalu Affirms Tinubu's Political Future in Osun State

Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, representing Abia North Senatorial District, asserted that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's political future in Osun State is still promising ahead of the 2027 general elections, despite the All Progressives Congress (APC) losing the recent governorship election. Kalu made this statement following the re-election of Governor Ademola Adeleke, congratulating him on his victory while expressing sympathy for the APC leadership and its candidate, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola.

He emphasized that the election results should not be viewed as a setback for Tinubu, who he believes retains significant political goodwill in Osun. Kalu praised the democratic process and urged political actors to respect the electorate's decision.

He also commended Adegboyega Oyetola for his contributions to Osun's development and encouraged party supporters to remain focused on future opportunities. Kalu's comments coincided with his engagements with community leaders in Abia North, where he reiterated his commitment to grassroots development.
