Kano State Health Agency Clears Debt, Boosts Drug Availability to 97%

Kano State's Drug Medic Consum Supply Agency (DMCSA) has successfully cleared a ₦980 million debt inherited from the previous administration, enhancing drug availability in public health facilities to 97%. Director General Gali Sule emphasized the agency's proactive financial reforms and commitment to transparency.

The agency's financial stability was further reinforced by partnerships with organizations like the Gates Foundation and Jawa International Ltd. Health Commissioner Abubakar Labaran praised the agency's achievements and pledged to maximize the utilization of donated tools and equipment.
